The mountains are always refreshing, especially if you stay in a noisy city. The Triund trek is one of the easiest and most beautiful treks in Himachal Pradesh. The trek starts from Dharamkot near Dharamshala,
Triund is the easiest Himalayan Dhauladhar trek. With views of the Kangra valley and the snow-covered Dhauladhar ranges, (Triund trek distance) It is 7 km from to Dharamkot. It takes around 4-5 hours to reach Triund. Its surface is approximately 9,350 feet above sea level.Start walking from Bhagsu. It is a steep ascent for 4 hours through a mixed forest of oak, rhododendron trees way to Triund. Arrive at theTriund and check in at the campsite. Triund is an alpine meadow situated on top of a ridge from where we have a superb view of the Dhauladhar mountain and peaks on one side and Kangra valley on the other. Dinner will be served at the camp. Overnight stay at camp.
After morning breakfast we start heading back to the same place we started the hike from. It is a downhill walk for three to four hours to Mcleodganj. Trek ends at Bhagsunag.
